Some users think that the lower the head of the pipeline centrifugal pump, the smaller the motor load. Under the misleading of this misunderstanding, when purchasing a pump, the head of the pump is often selected very high. In fact, for centrifugal pumps, when the pump model is determined, the power consumption is proportional to the actual flow of the pump. The flow of the pump will decrease with the increase of the head, so the higher the head, the smaller the flow and the smaller the power consumption. Conversely, the lower the lift, the greater the flow and the greater the power consumption.
Therefore, in order to prevent the motor from overloading, it is generally required that the actual head of the pump is not less than 60% of the rated head. Therefore, when high lift is used to pump low lift water, the motor is easy to overload and generate heat, and the motor can be burned in severe cases. In case of emergency, it is necessary to install a gate valve on the outlet pipe to adjust the water output (or block the small outlet with wood, etc.) Reduce flow and prevent motor overload. Pay attention to the temperature rise of the motor. If the motor is found to be overheated, turn off the outlet flow or stop the machine in time. This is also easily misunderstood. Some operators believe that blocking the outlet and forcibly reducing the flow rate will increase the motor load. In fact, on the contrary, the regular high-power centrifugal pump irrigation and drainage unit of the outlet pipe are equipped with gate valve. In order to reduce the motor load when the unit starts, the gate valve should be closed first, and then gradually open the gate valve after the motor starts.
If the inlet of the pipeline centrifugal pump is directly connected to the elbow, the water flow will be unevenly distributed when entering the impeller through the elbow. When the diameter of the water inlet pipe is larger than the water inlet of the pump, an eccentric reducer should be installed. The flat part of the eccentric reducer should be installed at the top and the inclined part at the bottom. Otherwise, the air will gather, the water output will decrease or the water will not be pumped out, and the machine will crash. If the diameter of the water inlet pipe is equal to the diameter of the water inlet of the water pump, a straight pipe should be added between the water inlet and the elbow, and the length of the straight pipe should not be less than 2 to 3 times the diameter of the water pipe.

(1) The pipeline centrifugal pump relies on the balance mechanism in the pump to balance the axial force, and the balance liquid flows out of the balance device. The balance liquid is connected to the water inlet section through the balance water pipe, or a short pipe is designed outside the balance room, and the balance liquid flows out of the pump through the short pipe. In order to ensure the normal operation of the pump, the balance water pipe shall not be blocked.
(2) During startup and operation, it is necessary to observe whether the meter readings, bearing temperature, packing leakage and temperature, pump vibration and sound are normal. If any abnormal situation is found, it should be handled in time;
(3) The temperature rise of the bearing reflects the assembly quality of the pump. Bearing temperature rise shall not be higher than the ambient temperature 35. Bearing maximum temperature shall not be higher than 75;
(4) The pump rotor has a certain axial movement during operation, and the axial movement should be within the allowable range to ensure the gap between the end faces of the two half couplings of the motor and the pump;
(5)pipeline centrifugal pumpDuring use, the impeller, sealing ring, guide vane sleeve, shaft sleeve, balance plate and other components should be checked regularly for wear; if the wear is too large, it should be replaced in time.
